FOOTBALL: Hodak wants goals

KELANTAN coach Bojan Hodak wants his players to go on a rampage when they face relegation-threatened Kuala Lumpur in a Super League match in Kota Baru today.

"We need to score as many goals as possible just in case the league title is decided on goal difference," said Hodak yesterday.
Kelantan are second in the standings, six points behind leaders LionsXII of Singapore but with five matches in hand.
"My players struggled to beat Kedah (2-1) last weekend due to the long break unlike the Lions, who hammered Sabah 9-0.
"We need to score more goals to improve our goal difference, but our priority is to win three points."
"KL are an unpredictable side and we cannot take them lightly. We need to be cautious and also not become over confident," added Hodak.
Kelantan's backline is fragile in the absence of injured defenders Zairul Fitrie, Farisham Ismail and Azizi Mat Rose while centre-back Obinna Nwaneri and striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha are doubtful for today's match.
"We have a long list of injuries but we have replacements on the bench. I need the best from those available as we cannot afford to drop points," said Hodak.
